Master of Science Degree in Finance

The Master of Science in Finance program is designed to challenge your understanding of finance through rigorous training in the conceptual, analytical and empirical intricacies of modern international finance and investment.

Over the course of two years you will be guided and mentored by our faculty to maximize your own potential while providing you with the academic knowledge needed to successfully navigate the complexities of the global financial matrix.

Objectives

To prepare you for a leading position in the financial world. You will develop rigor and understanding in solving financial problems. You will understand how to participate in the strategic decisions of allocating financial resources.

European Master Program International Private Banking (EMIB)

  • The European Masters are designed to provide students with rigorous training in the conceptual, analytical and empirical foundations of modern International Private Banking and International Corporate Finance.
  • This program emphasis on the history and culture of the European economy and the organisation and competition between Companies.

Objectives:

To prepare future international leaders with a good knowledge about the European culture and companies and competition with a good basement in the international private banking. After the courses, the participants should understand or work easely in a european environment.

Master of Islamic Finance

The Master in Islamic Finance (MIF) is a comprehensive post graduate program for people who are seeking a detailed understanding of the concepts and mechanisms of Islamic Finance.

Over the recent decades, Islamic banking and finance has emerged as a viable way of financial intermediation. It has gained credibility and has spread worldwide and is the preferred way of banking for one fifth of the world's population.

The Course offers an opportunity to study the structure of the Islamic banking and finance industry, including its theoretical foundations, products, performance, Islamic financial instruments and risk management issues. The classes will be conducted by qualified academics having in-depth knowledge of Islamic Jurisprudence, Islamic finance and Islamic Banking.

Objectives:

The program is structured and designed to offer an overall understanding of the theories and principles of banking and Islamic Finance in a current context

Dual Degree Programs with ESC Chambčry (France)

  • This program combines our Bachelor program with with ESC Chambčry - France.  
  • This special agreement allows students to exchange their BMU credits to study at ESC-Chambčry during their Bachelor (and also Master level) studies and vice-versa. BMU and ESC-Chambéry students will then have the advantage to study both in Switzerland and France.
  • This program is normally eligible for students in their last semester/year.

    Dual Degree

    This will result in receiving 2 separate diplomas from Switzerland and from France.

    Admission Requirements:
    • The student must be enrolled for the Degree Program and must have successfully completed the second year and all of its academic requeriments.
    • Good level of French and proven level of English (TOEFL IBT of minimum 67%) as all subjects are taught in English.
