Montreux and the Swiss Riviera is an excellent location for summer recreation. In winter, there are various resorts for skiing in the immediate surroundings.
If you will be staying in Montreux we can recommend you a number hotels that have earned a quality reputation for their service and accomodations.
We can only encourage you to enjoy a stay at the Hotel Raffles Montreux Palace with its splendid spa called Amrita Wellness, the Hotel Royal Plaza or even the Hotel Suisse Majestic in the heart of Montreux.
Furthermore, we can recommend the Hotel Eden au Lac Palace which is located right on the shore of Lake Geneva, next to the reputed restaurant Palais Oriental. Slightly outside of the centre of Montreux you will find the Hotel Excelsior and the Hotel Victoria Glion which are both excellent choices for your visit.
Other nearby, recommendable accomodations are: Hotel Mirador in Mont Pelerin or the Hotel Des Trois Couronnes in Vevey.
