Graduate Business Studies (GBS) / PRE-MBA
Individuals with non-business undergraduate degrees or business graduates who are deficient in certain disciplines are afforded the opportunity to take one or all of the foundation courses. The AGSB's pre master program at our American Switzerland college may be taken as a certificate program without continuation into any other programs which are offered by us.
There is no foreign language requirement in the GBS program. However, it is recommended that students planning to continue into the MIBA program begin foreign language studies.

ACC 520-521 Accounting Fundamentals (6)
A survey of elementary accounting concepts emphasizing financial statements, income determination, and budgeting. This course is cross listed with ACC 201 and 202.
ECO 510-511 Elements of Economics (6)
Basic concepts of elementary micro- and macroeconomic theory, including concepts of demand and supply, costs of production, market equilibrium, monetary and fiscal policy. This course is cross listed with ECO 101 and 102.
FIN 550 Fundamentals of Finance (3)
A course covering managerial applications of finance, such as financial planning, ratio analysis, time value of money, sources and costs of capital. This course is cross listed with FIN 304.
MAT 560-561 Decision Mathematics (6)
A survey of basic algebra and calculus necessary for making business decisions, including solutions of linear and quadratic equations, systems of equations, maximization and minimization theory, and techniques of integration Switzerland college. This course is cross listed with MAT 110 and 210.
MAT 570-571 Statistical Analysis (6)
A course covering descriptive and inferential statistics: data presentation, measures of central tendency and dispersion, probability distributions, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis Switzerland college. This course is cross listed with MAT 325
MGT 540 Principles of Management (3)
A study of the role of the manager in today's organizations, including leadership, organizing, planning, staffing, and controlling. This course is cross listed with MGT 305.
