Today’s successful business person must exhibit both a knowledge of the world in general and business in particular in order to excel in a complex and developing international economy. The International Business Administration program combines the virtues of rigorous preparation in business strategies and skills in an international context with a solid liberal arts basis that contributes to this formation of a successful businessperson who will have a well-defined career in business. Undergraduate concentrations are available in Accounting, Finance, Management and Marketing. The Graduate program is the perfect complement to SIUACS’s undergraduate degree in Business and offers an MBA in International Business and can be commenced directly after successful completion of an undergraduate degree in business, and takes no more than a year’s time (10 months if commenced in the Fall Semester.) Students who attend all summer sessions during their years of undergraduate and graduate studies can potentially complete both an undergraduate and graduate degree in the same four year time span that it usually takes at other schools to complete only the undergraduate degree. This fast track allows students to successfully over step their competitors when entering the job market and world of business.
