Since Leysin is almost a mile high on the south of the mountain, bright sunshine floods the university with light from early in the morning over long periods of the day, while fresh, clean mountain air mixes with the sun pouring through the open French windows from students’ balconies to create an unbeatably healthy atmosphere for both studies and sport.
