Who should apply?Holders of academic degrees in other fields than hotel and tourism management, who intend to make a career in the hospitality and tourism industry.
Course Structure
15 weeks at Schiller Engelberg campus + 15-20 weeks paid industrial training. For students with more than one year of practical experience in the hospitality industry, in-training may be waived.
Course Curriculum
The Postgraduate course has been designed to provide mature students with a broad understanding of working life and practices within the hospitality industry. To achieve this goal the course has a dual perspective: the focus on the daily operations within the departments of a hotel and the decision-making processes that lead to effective departmental and hotel management.

Admissions Requirements
To be eligible for admission as an undergraduate, the prospective student must have completed the secondary level of education, generally 12 years of schooling, or have completed five GCE O-levels (in a British system).
All non-native speakers of English must take SIU’s English Placement Examination offered at campus during the orientation/registration period. On the basis of this test, students will be placed in the appropriate course.
Applicants who have scored 550 (213 for computer-based TOEFL) or higher will not have further English language requirements.
